A MIX OF
FAMILY SLIDES
FROM THE 1980s.
In the 1980s when I was shooting with a film 35mm camera it was very
rare when I shot slides. Mostly I shot slides for photography school assignments. Throughout the 1980s I probably
shot only about five rolls of slides of the family. This collection is from those five rolls. The slides
have been scanned into my computer from a 35mm negative and slide scanner.
It's my Dad shoveling snow in front of our house on Decatur Avenue in North Bellmore.

Here is a cool photo of my brother Tommy in the North Bellmore backyard. The date on the slide says September 1982, but it was probably shot
in August and developed in September.

To the right it's Joe Ganci. I forget the names of the other two people. This and the
following few photos were shot at a babecue with the Joe and Rose Ganci's family at Sunken Meadow Park
on Long Island. Slide dated September 1982.

Now let's jump to the summer of 1988. It's my cousin Nancy (my Mom's sister Rosalie's daughter), her son Timmy and my parents
upstate New York in Penn Yan.
